Oklahoma Resources
Those in Oklahoma have the option of signing up with Medicaid, medicare and medi-cal programs. With a rise in addiction and opioid deaths in Oklahoma and the surrounding states, more needs to be done to preserve the lives of those living here.
The opioid makers that work to provide the Narcan and other addiction medications that are used in treatment are agreeing to pay out $270 million to cover the costs of the medications that are needed to treat addictions throughout the state. This comes after a lawsuit to the company that states that they might be the issue for the deaths that have happened through this and other states that have seen patients going through this type of addiction.
We provided resources below to those that are enrolled in medicare, medicair or medi-cal (not private insurance) that want or need additional help when overcoming their addiction. Help is always there when needed.

NOTE: Overdose deaths by type of opioid are not mutually exclusive and should not be summed. Synthetic opioid deaths do not include deaths due to methadone. Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) drugs are: methadone (M), buprenorphine (B), and naltrexone (N). Naltrexone includes both oral and injectable. An IMD (Institution for Mental Disease) is an inpatient facility with over 16 beds. |
