Medicare, Medicaid and medi-cal are provided through the state of Wisconsin. Addiction is a serious problem throughout Wisconsin and other states throughout the country. By understanding the need to overcome it, Wisconsin is putting new thoughts into treating this disease.
Wisconsin now has its own line that you can dial and get help from. There are recovery coaches that you can speak with, meet with and even get assigned too if you find yourself in the hospital because of an overdose. Those that are left with untreated addictions are finding themselves struggling to overcome them over time. These coaches are a way to combat that and overcome the addiction that is holding them back.
Resources are provided below for those in the Medicaid, medicare and medi-cal programs that would like additional help. There is help for everyone, not just those in private insurance plans, that want to get help.
